Patriotic ATC

I made these as bonus ATCs for the wonderful stampers who participated in my last ATC swap. I had the star paper from last year and wanted to find a use for it. I have no idea the company, though, because it was scrap leftover and the company name part had been cut off. I guess I need a patriotic sentiment to stamp on things; I don't know if "happy summer" is right for this. I hope everyone had a safe and fun holiday yesterday. We had a pie bonanza here. My brother made his first-ever apple pie and I made chocolate cream and pecan! And, the best part, all of the pies were delicious. I'm going to the gym today!

The wait is OVER

I finally get to share the second ATC swap I hosted for A*MUSE A*PALOOZA. These were sent out last week and I heard from most people that these had been received, so I thought I'd share them with the other blog readers out there (are you still there?). I made another one of those handy little ATC holders. This one is almost bulging too much, but that means the holder is full *yay*. Here is a picture of the ATCs inside. These were all so cute, too. I am glad that there are so many other fans of A Muse out there who were willing to share their talents with me :) Thanks! I had lots of fun!

My First ATC Swap and More

Here is a look at the great ATCs that were made for the first ATC swap I hosted. You can see mine here. I was waiting to post until I was sure everyone had received their ATCs. I began a second swap that will be due soon, so there will be more to share sometime next week. I am having a lot of fun with the swaps and ATCs, so I think I am up for hosting again! I am going to try to organize two swaps this time. I am looking for ATC swappers and card swappers. Below are the details. PLEASE contact me if you would like to join. I am enjoying every one's creations so far :)

ATC Swap:
Make 8 ATCs, you would get back 8, including one of your own
2 or more layers
Must include at least 1 A Muse stamp (otherwise, no vendor restrictions)
At least one embellishment preferred, but not required
Swaps would be due to me by July 3 and I will swap back to you on July 4 (send out on July 5). If you would like to make it a summer themed card that would be great, too!
Please sign and number each of your swaps and put them in a zip-lock bag to protect them from inclimate weather. Your bag should be marked with your name. Also include a SASE + 1 additional stamp (it will be returned if not needed). No metered strips please.

A Lonely ATC

This is an ATC I was inspired to make today after a trip to the farm with my kids. My son, Joey, went to preschool on the farm and it is one of our favorite places to go "spur of the moment." Anyhow, the cows and calves were out in a field of buttercups and I wondered how many flowers would be gone by the end of the day. When I sat down to stamp I came up with this idea. I really liked making the ATCs for the swap I organized a couple of weeks ago so I figured I'd just mess around on the smaller size work space. I would LOVE to have another swap, because it is a new and different way to stamp. Would anyone out there care to join me? This is what the swap would require:

Make 8 ATCs, you would get back 8, including one of your own
2 or more layers
Must include at least 1 A Muse stamp (otherwise, no vendor restrictions)
At least one embellishment preferred, but not required
Swaps would be due to me by June 19 and I will swap back to you on June 20.
Please sign and number each of your swaps and put them in a zip-lock bag to protect them from inclimate weather. Your bag should be marked with your name. Also include a SASE + 1 additional stamp (it will be returned if not needed). No metered strips please.

If you would like to join me, contact me under the link to the right. I will email you back with my address once I have a full swap list. If you lurk, I would like to "meet" you and this would be a fun way to do it.

My FIRST ATCs

These were so much fun to make. I have organized a small swap for the A*MUSE*A*PALOOZA Ambassador Contest. Since I am not active on Splitcoaststampers, I don't have a group of people to swap with, nor do I have a "following" like many of the Dirty Dozen stampers, who, by the way, have amazing work on display and deserve a "following". But I managed to find a few people to join me. *** Have you joined a swap lately? You should! *** So this is for them - a sneak peek at what I made. I would definitely do these again!
