If You Give A Trigger a Try...

It might make you you happy! This card made me happy because I was back in my stamping space after a bit of an absence. I had done a few Valentines, but those were hastily made and never photographed (except for one - stay tuned!).

I had been browsing some crafty blogs and saw the homey Tuesday Trigger for this week and decided to make a card. Sometimes just the process of cardmaking is satisfying enough for me and that was all I was looking for the other night.

I really love the colors here - mostly neutral with little bright bursts of green, red and blue. I had a few ideas of what I wanted to use but it all changed once I sat down to stamp. One thing I knew I wanted to use was the ferris wheel from a Lawn Fawn set and then I pulled out a couple of things from my neglected stash (fuzzy brad and green ric rac) and got to work.

Pretty straightforward and just a little spark to get me motivated to stamp more. I am hoping that I can get back to it this week since my husband won't be traveling and things look pretty quiet on my calendar. Here's hoping!
