Absence makes the heart grow fonder

This is indeed the case for me and my stamps! I miss my stamp hole (it is a converted cedar closet - I'll take pics sometime maybe) so very much. After a week where my husband was gone for three whole days, we had a wonderful and busy visit from my sister and her family, an overloaded weekend with birthday parties, and then packing for the whole family to meet my in-laws for a mini get-away for part of last week. Thursday we got back and then all the return home stuff happened: groceries, laundry, watering my poor wilting plants, sorting through mail, etc. UGH!!! I am glad to be home and I hope that I will get some time for me very soon. I did make a card, more of a scrappy card than stampy card, but I got it done. I haven't made a 4.25 x 5.5 card in a long time, so I stretched my canvas just a bit (this was based on a sketch I found somewhere).

card info: image and sentiment by A Muse, cardstock by Bazzill, patterned paper by Basic Grey, shimmer chalks by Pebbles, Inc., quickie glue pen, glitter by Stampendous.
