Holiday Card Workshop

Hi everyone!  I know that the blog here is frequently unused, but I figured I'd check in with a few holiday cards that I've made.  I decided to take an online card class that started last week to get me moving towards making more cards this year.  It's a good thing that I am only into papercrafting as far as crafting goes.  I can't imagine how many unfinished projects I'd have laying around the house if there were multiple craft mediums in my life.

I think that I'll just share cards without too many details.  You can always send me an email if you've got a question!

I was fishing through a drawer and discovered some chipboard numbers and this library card.  Not really my style card, but it was fun to try something different.

Pretty straightforward card here.  I used a mix of Lawn Fawn, A Muse, Martha Stewart and Simon Says Stamp supplies.

I wanted to practice with my markers, use some more chipboard numbers and try a technique Julie Ebersole calls Faux Embossing.  I don't think I did it quite right and it is hard to see in the photo.  You trust me, right?

This card was inspired by a pin on my Pinterest craft board.  Quick and simple card.

Again, chipboard letters from that magical, neglected drawer.  I also used some paper scraps from October Afternoon Boarding Pass paper pad.  Love me some maps!

Well, that is about it.  I just realized that I have some cards that I can post to the Lawnscaping Challenge Blog - Dust 'Em Off.

I can't tell you how long that chipboard stuff has been in the drawer!  Thanks for stopping by today :)
