You'd Better Do As He Says

When I was in London last year, there were vast crowds around Buckingham Palace to see the Palace Guards during most of the day.  Only in the early morning, when the guards were not out or on duty, was it a quiet spot.  All the better to see the Palace!    As I walked around London, I found a few other spots where there were Royal Guardsmen and each had a large, excitable crowd with plenty of cameras capturing their iconic stance.  It made me wonder if they often think to themselves, "Keep calm, tourists, and carry on about your business."  And, thus, a card was born!

I also saw this and used it as a bit of inspiration for this card.  I busted out the white embossing powder, too, and boy am I rusty in using it.  I forgot to swipe it with the little cornstarch pouch, so there are a few stray specks of white on the hat.

This is another for the lunchbox this year.  Maybe if I keep at it, I'll have a good little stash of cards to surprise the kids.  Thanks for checking in today.  Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!
