Here it is. No more appetizers, you can feast on the main course of tempting paper and generous helpings of new rubber!
I think that these new floral images are just beautiful, each and every one. There are tiny, delicate blooms and there are large, bold designs. There are sentiments for everyday and quotes that are perfect for wedding celebrations. The papers feature a gorgeous palette and have lovely detail. I could go on and on, but I think you get the idea. If you want to see all that there is on the menu, look here.
Now, this card is very simple. I made it to send to my nieces in Massachusetts. When my sister lived in California, she sent me some pictures of California poppies. These are a vibrant orange with just a touch of yellow, or sunshine, if you will. These flowers always will remind me of her and I just wanted her girls to know that I was thinking especially of her when I was making cards with these new images. I added just a bit of orange Stickles to the flower and bud to really make it feel like there was sun shining on the flowers.
I hope you've enjoyed the latest to come from A Muse. It has been fun sharing the Love Blooms amuse-bouche with you these past few days.

Beautiful, Elena. Love the little butterfly, too!
i love the colors you used. isn't kraft paper the best!!
such a happy card Elena - an a beautiful inspiration. The California poppies are stunning and are one of my favorite CA native plants. Spaniards who sailed here claimed that they thought the hills were on fire when, in fact, it was the poppies! :) How fun would it be to see what they saw? There is a poppy preserve out near Emily - it's amazing to see when in full bloom.
What a lovely accent with the butterfly. Just makes the card complete!
This is stunning!! Very clean and graphic! I really like that you used orange - I immediately think red.
Simply fantastic! Love the colours and how you cut out around the poppy!
That orange and brown is so cool! Don't know why I have never tried it.
So beautiful. I love how you left the poppy sticking up above the white layer, it's a great touch.
