The day before Mother's Day

This is the day I get treated to breakfast in bed because we go to church early on Sundays. So I get two days to celebrate. Plus, my wonderful parents took my oldest two kids to Washington, DC to enjoy a Hawaiian Festival at the Smithsonian's NMAI (it is so cool to be near DC where museums are mostly free and neat things happen, like the Queen visiting). So, I am getting a little time today to stamp. We have a very good friend getting married next month and I've wanted to make a card for him and his fiance. This is what I came up with today. I had seen this idea of the fancy frame behind a oval punch on Linda Carnell's blog a long time ago, but I can't find it now, but the idea was hers. And the ribbon through the bottom was a technique that the A Muse instructor at Angela's, Melinda, used at a class I took in February. There are some brilliant stampers out there!
***Added bonus - this also fits into the "No Black Ink" challenge for A*MUSE*A*PALOOZA***
Card info: images, sentiment and notecard by A Muse, Sakura stardust pen, embossing powder and ribbon.
